Our Story

Deckhand Oyster Bar launched our first restaurant in the North Austin – Round Rock area in 2010 with the idea that we would create a family atmosphere with moderately priced seafood and still bring a laid-back casual dining experience to our friends. Serving fresh oysters on the half-shell, seafood dishes, spicy Asian food, ice cold beers, and so on.

We’re proud of our success and because of the love of our loyal patrons we decided in 2016 to expand and bring our family business and proved passion for great food to South Austin.

Our newest location speaks to our old friends and our new friends to come.

Come by and see us whether you’re in North or South Austin. We’ll offer up not only the freshest oysters from the Third Coast, but the finest seafood whether you like it Asian, Cajun, Thai-style or American; boiled, grilled, and fried.
